The past 2 days have been less than desirable for me. For starters I my camera fell off my desk and a piece on the lens broke. For anyone who knows me knows that my camera is my child and I try to take good care of it. So my baby is broken and some how I managed to not shed a tear at her demise.
Secondly my luck with a cell phone since arriving here at WU has been very low. Today it was raining. Go figure. Life proof in hand I was not worried one bit. Upon returning to my dorm after my morning classes I could not find my phone. Back across campus I went with no phone to be found in the rain. Feeling frustrated and confused at the situation I attempted to use the "Find my iPhone app" which for the record doesn't work if you don't register your phone to it. So the attempt was pretty much useless. Sitting there in my puddle of tears... just kidding I wasn't crying just massively in a pickle. I was trying to determine my best option and how I was going to tell my mother that I lost my brand new phone she helped me get due to my incident on move in day. To my surprise my roommate walked in and before I could utter a word she said "Hey Im going to get your phone!".
Apparently my phone fell out of my pocket and someone picked it up. That person proceeded to find my mother's contact in my phone, called her and she called my roommate, Emily, who met up with her to get my phone because I had class. WHAT A CRAZY DAY. Thankfully my phone is now back in my possession with no damage whatsoever. So mysterious person who picked up my phone and did not steal it or the case which you could have done so easily Thank you.
While technology has managed to turn on me this week there are good people still on this earth and God moments are everywhere.
