Why Photography?

Beauty is only in the eye of the beholder. What I find beautiful the person next to me may find ugly. Photography gives me the opportunity to show the world what I think is beautiful. Photography is a way to capture memories; a way to let the world view life through your eyes. It is so much more than point and click.
Sometimes when dealing with a client you deal with their attitude too, your camera malfunctions, or sometimes that perfect shot was not so perfect on your computer. Most photographers struggle to get there business underway. Lets face it the economy is bad and most people don't want to spend money several times a year for portraits when they can by a fancy camera and take there own pictures. So why photography? Why have I chosen this path, this career? What made me choose it?

People are a lot like butterflies.
Butterflies cant see there wings. They cant see how beautiful they are but everyone else can. A lot of people don't realize just how unique and awesome they are. Society tells them that being different isn't cool and normal which leads to insecurities.

There is nothing that hurts me more than to see someone who is a beautiful person inside and out struggle to see themselves. I want to make people feel beautiful through my photography. I want to inspire people. Inspire them to look outside of the box. Challenge them to see the world in a different way and at different angles. I want God to be present in every picture I take. We really don't give him enough credit for creative, beautiful, diverse world he gave us to live in. I want to make lasting friend ships with clients and really get to know them, expressing myself through my art while capturing their personalities.
I dont want to do photography to get credit for a pretty picture.. I want to impact lives.
