Two Weeks!

I can't believe its been 2 weeks since surgery.

Time sure flies.

It some ways that makes me sad. Ive waited for this surgery (knowing eventually I was going to have to have it) for 3 years. Just like that its come and gone. It has been way easier than I expected.

I feel great!

Honestly this surgery is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I feel so much stronger. Its been awesome watching how Gods hand in literally every little step has been for me. He has honestly carried me further than I even expected him to.

I am practically off my pain meds, even the over the counter. Im taking them as needed.

Yesterday I sat up for 80% of the day.

I can take the stairs.

I can walk to get what I need.

I can still wiggle my hips! (I was very concerned this would be lost forever) My dancing days will return soon!

I've also regained most of the feeling in my back! Which is a huge praise because often a side effect of this surgery is numb patches of skin on the back due to them having to cut through the nerves and them not regrowing properly.
