Does anyone remember my little yellow mug?
I have a mug collection. It started when I became an art major and decided that doing a drawing series on mugs would be a fantastic idea. Fun Fact: Drawing mugs for series work is NOT a fantastic idea. Ellipses and perspective are the reason my drawing career will forever be limited.
Anyways... so I obtained quite a lot of mugs that semester. 14 to be exact.
Thus, my collection was born and my eye for mugs that were pleasing to the eye was formed. Lucky for me I like coffee so they get good use. I got this little yellow mug at the beginning of this school year. It was the cutest size and the perfect shade of yellow!
Well, I broke my favorite little mug about a month after I got it. It was tragic. I watched it fall in slow motion off of the shelf and it cracked IN HALF. Crazy. Ive been saving those halves until I could figure out what to do with them. You can't just throw away something that cute... even if it is broken.
Now, my little yellow mug, with the help of some glue, holds a plant. My other new obsession.
Other than a short story about my DIY mug pot there is a point to this post
If you are a frequent follower of my blog you will notice that the design changes a lot. Sometimes it is small changes... other times more drastic. For the past year I have been researching a lot about HTML coding. Slowly as my knowledge has grown I have been converting and design my blog with custom design. Truth is that I actually LOVE designing this little space I have on the internet and finding cool ways to incorporate the things that I love on it.
If you look at the page bar at the top of my blog you will notice that it looks a little different.
My navigation bar now has drop down menus. Which I hope will make my blog a bit more easier to navigate.
Under the "About Me" tab I now have the link to my photography website, and a new music page!! I look forward to updating that in the future.
This little blog will forever be a work in progress.
Anyways. I hope y'all have a wonderful day!
